Well - that's a depressing list. I was rather hoping technology was allowing us to move beyond these types of jobs at home. In fact, I know many professionals who successfully work at home - business executives, accountants, lawyers.
I was watching a History Channel show one night and they were predicting the future of urban work centers/cities. It was interesting that they felt the next generation of workers will be puzzled by the concept of companies that physically gather all their workers into one building to perform their jobs and that urban centers will transition to living spaces and business meeting rooms. It can't come soon enough, IMO. When it does, it will open all kinds of opportunities for people juggling the "have it all" kind of life.
