Starting Again

I had been an MT for five years, then changed careers, let my accounts know that I was moving into the corporate world and slowly allowed my contracts to find other MTs to replace me. Now I'm back. I missed it. I loved it and in a weird way I wished I never left it! It has been two years. I have done some refresher tapes from some of my old clients and found my talents are still in order. New meds and verbage are out, but that does not scare me. I love challenges.

Does anyone have any overflow work that they could use a hand with? I volunteer, for free, it would look good on my resume as well.

Does anyone know of any transcriptionist that might be looking to get out of the biz and might like to hand over accounts?

I am excited to be getting back to this as MT is my first love. I have to admit I did make alot of money out there, but working from home has perks like none other, I am sure you will agree (especially those with children!). I do not miss my boss telling me that I can't take off to see my son's afternoon plays, or trying to accumulate hours just to take time off to be with my family. Working from home paid well also. So I am building my contacts up, advertising and applying to jobs. Looking forward to jumping back in!

Any assistance anyone could provide me would be great. Until I hear from you happy typing!
